Backstory
Wish was born into a family of witch bat ponies. Their Mothers would always make potions and practice witchcraft and Wish loved watching. They knew that's what they wanted to do. But Wish just didn't want to make potions. They wanted to grant other ponies wishes. Wish asked their Mothers and they said they could do no such thing because they were just simply bat ponies who knew how to make magic not actually perform said magic. This disappointed them, they wanted to make a ponies wish come true but how would they do that when all they could do is make magic and not perform it? Wish was looking around in their Mothers' attic when they found some old books. Wish couldn't resist going through them; what they found astounded them. Wish had read that there was a magic staff that lies deep within a crystal cavern. The staff fulfils any ponies desire. On the second page there was a map of how to find said staff. They knew they had to find it. Wish said goodbye to their Mothers and set off on their adventure. It would take them 3 months to find this staff because most of the land was filled with plants due to it being forgotten. When they finally found the staff they were asked a question by the spirits of the ponies who guard the staff. "What do you desire young traveler?" said the spirits, "I want to be able to do actual magic, I want to grant ponies wishes... make their dreams come true." said Wish, "Then so it be. You must take the staff and protect it from ponies who want to use it's power for evil. Once the staff breaks, your wish is gone" Wish took the staff with a thank you. Wish returned home, telling their parents everything that had happened.  Wish decided to move to a more secluded part of equestria. Now whenever a pony stumbles upon them, they get 3 wishes.
